TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 1-year extension of your Non-Immigrant O visa based on marriage, it's advisable to visit your local immigration office when you have 30 days or less remaining on your entry stamp. Some offices, like those in major cities such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, may even allow applications with under 45 days remaining. Always check in advance for specific local requirements, as they can vary by office.

You need to check with your local immigration office. Most offices let you apply for a 1-year extension based on marriage when you have 30 days or less remaining with your entry stamp on Non-O marriage. Some offices such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and a few others accept your application for an extension when your stamp has less than 45 days.
Go to your local office in advance to get their latest requirements for a 1-year extension based on marriage to a Thai. Each office has its own list, including seasoning of funds.

Remember that an application for extension by marriage to Thai has to be approved by Bangkok, therefore it needs to be forwarded to them at least 4 weeks prior to renewal date, meaning the application date must be a month in advance
