Hi, I’ve entered Thailand for 3 weeks on Non-O visa (3-month) and plan to extend it (or my stay, to be precise for some) to a year, which will require a 2-month deposit record of 800k baht at a local Thai bank. I’m just about to get an address certificate, with my lease contract, from the Immigration Office ; the address certificate is required by most Thai banks. My question is……..
before my Non-O expires 3 months from my entry, yet my bank deposit has not reached 2 months, how may I continue legally staying here and make my bank deposit reach 2 months, so that I may extend my stay to one year ?? 🤔
I know my Non-O (3-month) is good for only single entry, and as soon as I leave Thailand, I will need to re-apply.
Thank you so much for sharing your great knowledge ! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I got myself METV VISA, APPROVED today. It is electronic, 20k show at airport, 5k application fee, 24-48 hour approval. All uploaded documnets must be clear, shows your name with your finances. Financial proof will have to be in collage format.
Print out your payment paperwork (Very important/ will have barcode. Show at payment counter). You *MUST* have Thai Baht. You *WILL* get turned away from counter and must re enter line without the print out. Your phone evidence won't suffice. Your approval letter with barcode is your electronic vis passport.
Your approval letter will more than likely come between 9 and 11 a.m. lol perfect time for a extended day if you miss the email before checkout time. So book hotel a day short. Important they switched everything electronically. You won't need to go back to the counter to get any stamps, pay extra fees or anything. I know gpt says to, but it's false. Print out your approval letter and that barcode is what immigration will scan. I will update if they can scan the code on the phone.

Hello. I am thinking of applying dtv visa through Soft power (Muay Thai) . I have been gathering some information and so far where I see most people applying at is Vietnam, Jakarta and Laos. I have gotten most recommendations to Laos due to it being quickest process but apparently you can’t do e visa there.
So my question is where do you guys think is fastest to get dtv visa and easiest embassy to deal with ?
I am from Norway and currently staying at Bangkok .
I’m in. Thanks for your help. Arrived at Bkk and was stamped in no problem, even though I put the wrong arrival dated on my, digital arrival card. Just got scolded a little. I was informed that the digital arrival card is required every time you return.
Still a little confusion in a few areas. We all know about the banking. But had a confusing conversation with a True mobile counter help. She informed me there was no E-sim available for True on a tourist visa longer than 30 days. You had to get a new number every 30 days. Anyone have any information regarding esims and the DTV?
Is There a Thai immigration app you can apply for the TM-6 entry and exit stamp or just a link? What happens if you cannot do it 3 days in advance ,only 1 day in advance because of my work schedule offshore ?
I am coming to Chiang Mai soon and I will attend a Thai Lanuage School for an ED visa. I've read it's impossible to start a business whilst on said ED visa. Is that true, or can a visa agent perhaps help with some legal loopholes I am unaware of? Thanks in advance!
