Do you have to go back to io and inform them if you have a change of address shortly after receiving your first 1 year extension

Or wait until next extension is due !!

Please comment and happy new year to all of you

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you change your address in Thailand after receiving your first 1-year extension, you are required to file a TM30 form within 24 hours of moving. While some individuals suggest waiting until your next 90-day report to notify authorities, it is advisable to report the change as soon as possible to avoid potential issues with your immigration status.

I've always tried to put my change of address as soon as possible within a week with no issues and I've moved 3 times in 2024 all in the khon kaen area. Better safe than sorry is my Motto๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Do it when you do your next 90 day report and say you have just moved no problem ๐Ÿ˜Š

It is required within 24 hours so asap. Do not wait until your next extension especially as you have to confirm your address every 90 days

You'd report it at your next 90 day...
