Happy New Year!
Have to get a new extension next month for Non-O (over 50). First time doing it in Bangkok. Does Chaengwattana require the bank issued transaction record or does the updated bank book and copy showing 12 months of transactions suffice (along with the bank letter)?
TLDR : Answer Summary
For extending a Non-O visa in Bangkok at Chaengwattana, you need a standard bank letter showing your name, account, and balance as of the date issued. If it's your first yearly extension on a 90-day Non-O visa, only a 3-month transaction printout is required. However, if you're renewing from an existing extension, you should provide a 12-month transaction detail report printed by the bank, in addition to updating your bank book to reflect your current balance.
