When applying for the Muay Thai Via E-visa?

Do I need to send my passport, or they send me a letter

Once the visa is approved, do I have to travel

immediately, or can I wait?

If I apply now without a set travel date, will they ask for an airline ticket and accommodation details?”

Much appreciate your knowledge!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Muay Thai visa via E-visa, you do not need to send your passport; instead, you'll receive a PDF letter via email if your application is approved. You are not required to travel immediately after approval, as you have five years to use the visa. However, during the application process, you will need to provide your intended travel plans, including arrival dates, potential flight information, and accommodation details, as the embassy may ask for proof of your travel arrangements.

I suggest that you make an account on the e-visa platform and start checking out what information you are supposed to provide...

That being said,

- no you don't send the passport. IF your application is approved you will get an e-mail with a pdf-file to print out (to present together with your passport).

- no, you don't have to travel immediatly, you have 5 year to enter.

- on the e-visa platform you are asked for your travel plans... You are supposed to enter your intended date of arrival, a flight number for tickets you plan to buy, details for accomodation where you plan to stay etc. There have been reports in this group, where the embassy request airline tickets and proof of accomodation as additional information.

Use the search tool in this group and look for information for the specific embassy you plan to apply through. Also read the information they provide on their web page.
