How long does it take to get the DTV visa in Thailand and does 9 months of Muay Thai guarantee a 5-year visa?

# DTV timing

Hello guys, I'm looking forward to get the DTV visa, but I'm unsure on how long will it take. Does anyone have a rough idea?

I'm from Spain and I'll ask the Madrid embassy.

I'd also like to ask if by doing 9mo muay thai will I get the 5years or do I need to apply again every time?

Thanks for the help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa typically takes about 15 days for online processing, although the duration may increase if additional documents are required. Regarding muay thai training, it seems that if you continue your training for 9 months, you may be eligible for a 5-year visa. However, it's important to maintain a continuous status; if you quit every 6 months, you would need to reapply.
