UK citizen - applied on Monday to London. DTV received Tuesday afternoon after submitting a few extra documents Monday afternoon. Bloody brilliant. (Posting incase anyone else was wondering about waiting times) 🙏🏽 Extra documents required - (a better photo, a pdf of my return ticket (not the screenshot I'd uploaded), and a letter from my job to confirm i can work in Thailand addressed to the Thai embassy)

Uk passport arrived this morning 5.30am 22/10/25

Just noticed as I am racing to catch my connecting flight that I've only been stamped in until the 20/12/25. I've checked and that's only 59 days. My return flight is the 20/01/26 which with the 30 day extension leaves me a day short when I legitimately shouldn't be. What are my options? Going back to the desk isn't one ,as I'm now sat on my connection .

Hi. I am Canadian on a Non-O Retirement Visa with the One Year Extension with Multiple Entries. I got the One Year Extension on Dec. 26 2024 and it expires on Jan 2, 2026. My last physical 90 day checkin was March 21, 2025. I then went to Canada missing the next check in date of June 18, 2025.

We are now entering Thailand on October 26. What must I do when I check in for this 90 day period? My wife and I are still living at our house in our Udon Thani village.

Many Thanks

Hello,

If you are 48 and a half years old and you come to Thailand to live now . What visa is the best to bridge the gap to become 50 to apply for a retirement visa?

Can you get a health insurance if you do not have a long term visa?

Hello!

I have a 1-year retirement visa, a multi-reentry permit. Please tell me, when I return to Thailand, do I need to register with the immigration and a new TM30 form every time? My address does not change, I have a 1-year lease contract. Thank you!

Quick question, see on the DTV VISA when you extend your visa after the initial 6 months and you've been in Thailand for 12 months, how long do you have to leave the country before you can come back into Thailand? Could I fly to a nearby country for like a long weekend and come back and stay 6 months and extend again? It might seem like a silly question but someone might be able to clear this up for me.

My friend applied for the visa whilst in Thailand, told her this is very bad

What do you reckon next steps are? Create new application, email embassy?
