What i find crazy is this is a tourist visa basically so I'm told , yet its for working digital nomads and I'm sure they know your going to work remotely while there especially those ones who stay there repeatedly , yet its not a work visa its a very grey area which i think might change as it goes.

When it switches to E-visa does anyone know what the place you apply from rules will be. At this stage clearly you need to be in Hanoi for a visa done in hanoi, but with Evisa does it then mean you can apply online and fly there once you know your appointment time to pick it up is

I find it strange as it’s advertised for remote working and the 180 days implies they want you to pay tax hence you would require a bank account for payments to go into for any possible income for tax liability or am I reading it wrong

Was the bank account you used just a savings account with a balance of over 500 k or does it have to be one that your doing business in and using.

if that's too much maybe prove that your a remote worker then otherwise why would u want a 5 year visa for a 2 weeks cooking class

I wonder if this would apply to tourists on visas let’s say exemptions stays travelling around for 185 days in and out I really doubt this would be policed very well

I can see Muay Thai and cooking schools prices increasing now it appears strange that the govt is allowing 5 yr visas for one of treatments or 6 month gym options. Nonthaburi immigration told me last week that the DTV could be changed with the new govt
