I emailed Vientiane recently (not Savannakhet, but still Laos...) and they said the most important thing for the financial balance was "credibility and verifiability", and they would ask me to show the balance live on a banking app at the interview, in addition to the regular statements.
By this wording, it seems there is a grey area about whether or not they believe anyone legitimately has that money and it's up to the individual officer's discretion.
Sorry - your FULL unredacted financial and personal information. Not just one number alone. Passport info page, full bank account number, sort code, bank address, all transactions as shown on your statement, home address, foreign address, etc.
In other words, everything that you would be giving to the consulate in one go. Because they don't simply have one set of bank account digits in isolation, they will have your full details in combination with your ID, personal details and everything else.
I don't intend to do anything with this myself of course, but if you think my request is nuts and you're suddenly hesitant to post every single thing on that list and more altogether, then you understand the point.
. Was the balance over 500k for the entire 6 months or just the final ending balance? This is important for people who have moved/collated their money from various places to show in one account for the purposes of visa application.
