Andy Wonder Right. If you don't have as little as 500k for relocation and following the requirements, then I think it's logical to say keep your day job.

Exactly; common knowledge. If you can't figure this out.... 😮

Since you said night life of course the hands down choice would be Nana Hotel.

Absolutely right! In fact there's some tweaking that I'd implement to crank it up a notch on the requirements to curb abuse.

Are they back? I know they tried to curtail that problem a couple times.

Absolutely use an agent. Saves a lot of stress and time. I can make money but I cannot make time so anything to help make things easier is definitely worth it to me. I got the whole Visa thing worked out in under a day.

You are correct. With the lump sum option you do not have to transfer any specific amount on any particular schedule, just whenever you feel you need to bring the balance up. This assumes you use said account for expenses such as rent, which I do. So it does need to be replenished occasionally. Hope this makes sense.

The monthly income route seems way too complicated and the rules very strict, thus I'm glad they offer the 800k lump sum option. But to avoid dipping below that amount around visa renewal time, I use 900k with no worries of meeting day-to-day expenses. Just my method for ease and peace of mind.

Cigna Global has been working well for me.
