For the people saying this is a Trump thing.... Its not. I tried 3 times with my ex under Obama several years back. Denied all 3 times. She had a fulltime job, strong ties to Thailand, owned a condo.... Pretty convinced only the HiSo, super rich Thais get American visas consistently. The middle class/poor have almsot no shot at it.
Ive done it in basically every asian country.... Vientiane just asks less questions. If you have all of your paperwork it wont be a problem. Enjoy your trip!
I dont think you are understanding here.... I'm not married, and I'm not working for a Thai company. I dont have Thai kids. I make my money on the internet. There is no visa option unless you want to get involved at one of those co-working spaces and give them 25-40% of your monthly income... and even those guys have been getting busted on occasion.
I used to do double entrees, those were great... But single entrees have been working. Until they offer another option, single entree tourist visas are all you can do... I dont see how you can morally argue marrying or knocking up a Thai girl for a visa.
Well it depends... if he booked it all together then he will stamp out there and be kept in the international section of the air port and be escorted to the domestic flight. Its a really stupid and confusing system but happened to me several times when booking international flights from chiang mai (going through bankok).
