Steve Greir Yes if someone holding you hostage for money and they allow you call your Embassy why would it not help? Never going to pay 10 000 THB to some Cambodian immigration. Same with Thai immigration if they taking a piss i called the Embassy and they fixed it.

Steve Greir Do not know why you so are so aggressive? Never mind this thread is pointless since we not have the fact anyway. Off course you call your Embassy if you stuck in another country with corrupt officials i done it before and always helped

I would simply call the Embassy and ask them to talk to them immigration in Question. I am sure they would feel it would be strange that it now cost 10 000 to visit Cambodia.
