TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is confused about the requirement to have their income verification letter from the Swedish consulate in Pattaya verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Bangkok for their NON-O visa application. Several comments confirm that this requirement appears to be a specific practice of Pattaya's immigration office, though it may vary by location and individual circumstances. Others shared similar experiences, highlighting that it is becoming a common requirement in certain regions, particularly when using income letters for the first time.

I got answer from Swedish Embassy now according to them the IM in Rayong and Pattaya have started to do this now. Sometimes they care sometimes they dont want it. I will close the the thread now.
the consulate say it’s immigration issue but Sweden is on the so called approve list we should be able to do it. Like we have to verify that the embassy is real 5555
never heard of this. Last December I renewed my extension and showed my incomeletter from Swedish Embassy to the Immigration department. No one asked for any certification from MOFA.
