TLDR : Answer Summary
When filing a TM30 report while renting a house in Thailand, the renter is typically considered the house master according to immigration laws. However, it is necessary to obtain a copy of the house owner's ID and housebook. If you are in Phuket, the house owner must either join you in filing the report or provide a signed Power of Attorney, along with affixing 10 Baht tax stamps.
If you file the TM30 report, you also need a copy of the ID and housebook of the house owner. If you're in Phuket, the houseowner needs to join you or sign a Power of Attorney and 10 Thb tax stamps.
not sure if i am doing it right but i havn't had any complaints by the immigration so far.
I googled the Thai text and got "road/lane" so i entered my street with soi number insted of my phone number which would work communicating with Line. I fill in my name twice but i am both the owner and the foreign resident.
Anders Guldenskold I did mine in Jomtien myself without owner...I completed the TM30 in my name and attached the rental agreement with owner and my ID - no copy of house book.
They have always accepted it. Last time was 2 weeks ago.
