Thanks for all the advice regarding the TM30 i never done it before even if i been living here for long time but no problem. I rent a house put myself as Master of the house and also myself as renter no problem. Copy of rental agreement and the copy of house book and ID from owner no problem. Came on Tuesday 3 days late since it was weekend and holiday no problem. Immigration office said if i travel inside Thailand no problem no need to notify. When i do my OM visa run and go camping in North Thailand with no immigration nearby she say go to hotel one night make sure they report after that i am in the clear. If that do not work she said come to see her when i back to Pattaya. So best option if no immigration nearby just check into a hotel and you all set. Jomtien Immigration Pattaya.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their experience with the TM30 reporting process in Thailand, mentioning that they have never done it before despite living in the country for a long time. After renting a house and following the necessary steps, including providing a rental agreement and IDs, they visited the immigration office, which informed them that if they travel within Thailand, there is no need to report their whereabouts unless they are in a location with no immigration office nearby. In such cases, they suggest checking into a hotel for one night for reporting purposes.

Thank you for the update Anders. Good to hear your experience. I was under the impression you can report where you stay to police as well if there is no immigration office. But I've never personally done it.

My immigration had never heard of it. Weird how inconsistent they are.
