if you qualify based on a pension for the retirement visa, must you have a bank account in Thailand? In other words, do you have to deposit the reqired pension amount each month into a Thai bank or can it be left in your home country bank?

Anonymous participant 861 if you apply for the DTV and pay the fee and then dont get approved for your DTV before your flight, you will have to change your flight at the last minute because you MUST wait in the country you apply for the DTV from until you get the approval. You cant be in Thialand whole waiting for the approval or you will be denied and lose your application fee.
