Even more confused.

Neither the Canberra and Sydney mention anything about visiting immigration once a year, all Sydney said in an email was get insurance for 1 year and renew every year.

It would be great to here from somebody who did their visa via Sydney

Another thing we thought of was if we flew out of Thailand close to the end of year one then come back in with new insurance will we get stamped in for another year without having to go to immigration

What are the unknown risks.

I emailed the Sydney office Yesterday with some queries and was surprised I had an answer in 10mins.

We are now looking at Sydney but it’s a bit confusing so will send them an email and hope I get some sense from them

It might only cost you $600.00 but you have to put in a Thai bank

The money in (a) and (b) must be kept in bank account at least 1 year before withdrawing and, within another next year, the money must be left in the account with the amount of not less than 1.5 million Baht and can only be spent in Thailand.

That’s a lot of money sitting there plus you can’t spend the money anywhere other than Thailand
