If your work permit was canceled 2 days ago, you have overstayed your visa, owe ฿1000 (2x500), and are now subject to arrest, detention, fine and repatriation. All at your own expense.
Leave Thailand today, and return on a visa exempt entry if you like, and are eligible.
I’m not sure where or when you took the photo, but the list, unsurprisingly, appears ambiguous, and beyond what might be required by law… or by other banks, or even other branches.
Required Documents for
oreigners to open account
1.Original Passport (ok)
2. A reference letter from
Embassy located in Thailand (most embassies don’t issue and not required by law)
3.Housing Contract
4. Work permit (Not legally required and not lawful for retirees)
5.Driver's license (Thai or foreign?)
I opened my account at a Maya bank branch on a tourist visa with a passport and a ฿50 Residence Certificate from immigration. However, I wasn’t dressed like a begpacker, and it was substantially more than the ฿10k minimum.
