I changed from an extension to stay on a non imm B to an extension to stay non imm O based on being 50 yrs +. But I think you cannot change a visa type only the reason for an extension to stay.
Am I correct in saying that you can only appeal if your application has been turned down. You can thus not appeal if they dont accept your application. Thus by refusing to accept an application you are denied the right to appeal.
you must search the internet there are people that do fast SA pcc. You go to the SA embassy in Bkk and get your finger prints done. Then DHL it to the people in SA that can help with fast SA pcc's. They then DHL it back to you. Even the fast service will take about 5 weeks plus.
I did it last week in Petchabun and they copied just about every page. These copies plus both passports and letter from your embassy stating that the new passport replace the old one. The IO then stamped into the new passport a record of my previous visas - non imm B to non imm o and extension to stay and reentry permiy. Be advised to travel with both passports when leaving the country for the first time after the change.
Better still go and sit down with a IO after you studied the handout and ask all the questions. Dont ask a volunteer as you may get wtong answers. There are reports that they dont accept the combination method at that office, this may not be on the handout.
Just a reminder with the multiple non imm OA you must buy a re-entry permit for the second year (if you exit the country during the second year without a re-entry permit your visa is cancelled).
