I reckon I get a baht more than at an exchange booth, probably baht more than the standard rate at the bank the fee to send is cheaper and the use of an app makes the whole process simpler. If I send 65,000 from my bank in £, using TransferWise today rather than bank to bank I would save ฿7000 not accounting for the difference in transfer fee. X 12 = ฿94,000

wrong, if the receiving bank isn't your home bank, they will transfer the funds on to your bank whereby it ceases to be a foreign transfer

I wouldn't think so, it's an aid to customers nothing else.

Most of mine go to Bangkok bank ( my bank) 2 recently have went via kasikorn. You can check this out by downloading the pdf receipt, it states it at the bottom
