What is the current status of the TM30 app and its approval process in Thailand?

Well now we know that Chonburi is telling people the website and apps are not available (rather than just manning up and saying they're swamped by applications and can't clear 'em out fast enough) :/

What the O/P is saying is that while the online portal and the mobile applications DO work if you have, registered, gotten a user name and temp password to access them the BACKLOG is now so large that Chonburi is telling people they are not available for a couple months.

That's again due to them going from 40 applications country wide a day to over 400 applications country wide. They can't access the applications and vet the documents uploaded to approve people fast enough.

At least in Bangkok, IF you have gotten your application to click over to Pending Status, you can take a screen grab of it, along with copies of the documents you uploaded to the immigration office and get them to activate your account.

I think the OP is saying the App will no longer work in future?

Perhaps they have decided that due to the constant moaning, everyone can go back to queuing up at an Immigration office? 🤔

The Section38 application for mobile phones has been available for sometime now both at iPhone App Store and Google Play.

Now maybe they meant it would take two months for your application to use it to get approved,

Tod just wrote this statement: The immigration officers said at the FCCT meeting about theTM30 last night IF people apply with the correct documents that they will do their best to start having a 7 day turn around on the approvals and they are working to get the backlog caught up. Only thing I can add to this: But it is just who to believe. Make sure you get reported or face a fine in the near future, take care of yourselves.
