The banking app is installed on the phone not the sim. An example I had a problem with my IPhone and I did a factory reset. I was outside Thailand and had to wait to return to Thailand. I them went to the bank and the app was reset

I have never had an IDP and had no problem getting a Thai drivers license 5 years ago.

You do not need an IDP to get a Thai drivers license. If your license is in English you will get what you have on you license from your country. If you have car and motorcycle licence they are issued as two cards. Bring medical certificate and certificate of residency to one and transfer office. Watch video do the reaction test pay the fee and wait to get your

License. First time issued for two years. Next renewals five years
