Hi All

Looking for your recommendation, based on your posititive personal experience, on a Thai based Visa agent (ideally Jomptien, Pattaya or Bangkok) so I can obtain a Partner Visa for my Thai Partner for Australian residency.

She currently has a 1 year Australian Visitors Visa.

She is still based in Thailand and I am in Oz with the usual back and forth Thai - Oz travel.

I have done the predictable internet searches, reviews etc but would prefer direct recommendations based on your personal experiences.

Thank you in advance for your positive input.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking personal recommendations for Thai-based visa agents to assist with obtaining a Partner Visa for their Thai partner who holds a one-year Australian Visitor Visa. Several commenters suggested different visa services, including VIP Visa and Mots Services, while others mentioned the importance of proving an ongoing relationship for visa approval. Discussions also highlighted alternative options such as applying for multiple tourist visas prior to the partner visa.

Has she been to Australia? If not you need to consider getting her a 3 month tourist visa, 2 or 3 of those and then apply for a partner visa. You don't need an agent, just money and patience.

......more than anything, the dept of immigration want to see proof of a ongoing relationship. You obviously have that already. If you have achieved that without an agent you have done well. I cannot recommend any agents in Thailand. But I do know they need to be registered with the dept to charge for their services. Good luck mate.

if you do this and marry within the 9 months you then apply for partner/residency. Residency is then considered roughly 2 years after application.
