Just do one from local sheriff's department. Here they will not know the difference. Besides if you have a record on federal level or your passport has been flagged... that will show up when they check it here. But for the BS paperwork... Your local police will give you a report.

I am doing a switch from Non O retirment to a Non O volunteer as I have been recruited by an outfit here that is backed by and recognized by government here. They switch retirement to marriage easy enough. So cannot think they would do what you asked. Yes depends on office and who you talk with as will all immigration issues... but should work out.
