Oh, I've got one more question while we're at it. I was wondering if I had to prepare all the same documents again in 45 days for the 1 year extension. Do I need to get a new fresh Kor Ror 2 from my district office, along with the proof of funds? I know it needs to be done at every yearly extension, but I wonder if they request it when you just showed them these documents for the initial, 90 days Non-O Thai Wife visa? Thanks in advance! (My guess is that I need a fresh copy of everything even if it's been only 45 days, but I'd love to avoid a visit to the district office in this temperature!)

I see! That makes a lot of sense as well! Guess I'll just wait for the next visit. I always want to plan everything in advance as much as possible with Google Calendar reminders and documents ready to make sure I don't forget anything, but in this case, they can inform me on my next visit. Thank you very much for your very informative response. Exactly the info I was looking for. Much, much grateful for your help! Since I can ask for an extension 45 days prior to the expiration of my current extension, there will probably be a gap not exceeding 7 to 10 days. If I receive the passport earlier than expected, I won't take any chances and make the trip only for the visa transfer first. Thanks!!!
