Hello dear fellow group members.
I received my new passport 1 week ago, but haven't had the time to go to Chaeng Watthana immigration yet to transfer the visa extension based on marriage to a thai citizen into the new passport. I was planning to go this week or next week. However, a family emergency has occured that kept me quite busy in the past few days and I must fly to Canada ASAP.
Question: Do I need to do the transfer before I leave the country, or can I just bring both the old and new passport to airport immigration and they'll let me go? Any consequence to this?
Thank you and sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm under a lot of stress right now as my father is dying and I can't think straight. Grateful for any advice in this matter.
