My friend mentioned when he was back in Australia, he just went into the commonwealth and transferred $40k. Only cost him $30. Also had to be reported to gov cause over $10 k. But you have to do that on all transfers over $10 k in Oz anyway.

yeah I am never in Aust long enough for them to process a visa. With postage times to where I live. Started my last application

weeks before departure. Didn’t hear back from them till a few days before my flight. Didn’t want to risk my passport in that time.
