Here's what I did. I went into Krungsri Bank on a tourist visa some years ago. I told them I wanted to open a bank account because I had sold my home in my home country, and I wanted to buy a Condo here in Thailand. I would also require some insurance. (all b/shit of course). Tell them just enough. End result..they couldn't move fast enough to open an account for me. ( I also did this at Bangkok Bank, worked a treat. ) You're welcome. 😉
