in Philippines you die on the floor of the ER if you don’t pay upfront…in an emergency I still could get my treatment abroad and get the money back later…but yeah,it’s always individual.

i have only minimum basic insurance ,in Switzerland i get treatment just normal and my medicine I buy abroad i get percentage paid back ,same for eventually treatments abroad.
