I still have my health insurance in Switzerland,so for me it’s not necessary,but I understand that you want to feel a bit safer. But in my experience insurances in Asia working a bit different than you know maybe from your home country…own experience and also heard of others…all is fine as long as you pay your amount,but in case of you will need it,they find excuses not to pay…so chose wisely,and good luck.

Really a smart move of Thailand to improve the economy…pity that other countries don’t do even similar…
