Do you mean she has 'indefinate right to remain' visa in the UK? From what I remember you apply to the country's embassy that you want to visit in the UK and apply for your schengen visa there. If you then travel on to other countries in the schengen area the same visa applies. So you could get your visa from Germany and then travel on to Spain and Greece.
Seems odd that it's only the O/A visa that requires health cover if the reason is to stop people doing a runner without paying a hospital bill, if that was the reason for the new rule surely it would apply to all long term visas? 🤷♂️
Does he need to set up a separate holding account within his Wise account for Thai Baht to keep a balance in Baht to pay in Thailand with the DEBIT card?
I hear you, I get you can't drive on it indefinitely and need to get one in the country of residence but it just seems stupid they can't issue one with an overseas address as a proof of entitlement for vehicle types driven perhaps endorsed not for use outside country of citizenship like they put on visas of foreign nationals in the UK - No recourse to Gov't funds. Instead people have to resort to getting round the rules by providing a false address (which is the obvious way around it...).
Isn't it ridiculous the lengths you have to go to getting around rules/regs... You'd think in this day and age they'd come up with a better system to keep your uk licence in date since they introduced a limited life span plastic licence? After all you can change your HMRC details to your overseas address so why not drivers licence... 🤷♂️
