one time the immigration officer was a bit stroppy, so I asked when I did my extension and in immigration when I left and both said there would be no problem. Last time I arrived the girl said you come often why? And why no visa.
I am old married to a Thai lady and visit visa exempt 3 or 4 times a year and they ask me the same questions and suggest I get a visa.
For medical and age reasons I don’t want a marriage visa. When I get my visa extension the officer tells me I can come as often as I want, as long as I fly.
Leaving the country last trip I asked in the airport immigration office and they told me the same thing.
So what they say on the immigration desks and in the offices are different.
I had the same when I entered the last time. When I extended I asked the officer and he said I would have no problem reentering. Not being convinced after immigration at the airport I went to the office and asked the same question and after studying my passport he said there would be no problem as I only come by air.
I asked on my way out of Thailand last week. I spoke to a senior officer who studied my passport and his reply was by air there is no problem, land crossing yes. Last year I visited 5 times and was becoming worried. I also get a 30 day extension.
