Application changes on line to paid.

Got mine 48 hours later.

Back to Thailand next morning. Could have made a trip to Luang prabang , however I guess is a remote chance you may have to go back if they have any issues so I decided stay Vientiane. Obviously don't do at a weekend or during thai government holidays as they will close on thai govt holidays. Any other queries please feel free to ask. @

.. no they don't...i did it in June and my bank account was in united kingdom!!!!!!!

I was here 6 months , came back after 4..questioned for 30 minutes,had proof of travel on to laos.

Eventually let me in , 60 day visa exempt. extended 30 days and went laos via nong Khai.

Went with a plan to get 90 day non o which I got.

When I left nong Khai the immigration officer very sternly said; enjoy laos, do not come back without the correct visa...I was quite surprised tbh but when I did come back, with the retirement 90 day non o I saw a few people refused entry back in to Thailand,things are hotting up . Will be leaving soon and come back in 6 months with another non o I hope,I have got the bank account and phone in place now at least

How.does just don't bother shipping costs are so high, customs duty to pay...cheaper to replace..

is so easy to understand when worded like that, however lots of mis information is given in many groups,thai e visa website is black and white ...apart from the grey bits....lol.... Some banks are getting tougher even with the 90day non o visa .

But it's all doable

I got account at fourth bank. Just comment as it seems more difficult now I think banks treat 90 day non o as just a tourist visa now at some branches

all my paperwork fine with 90 day non o. Three banks refused then fourth agreed all with same paperwork

ol I think that's where you are fortunate. The one year non o seems ok with the bank but the 90 day one seems to be an issue. 2 banks told me the 90 day non o is classd as short stay and they will not open account on that despite everything saying it is what's needed to get your first account. Lots of nervous banks about I think because of the recent scams etc

which visa was you on ? And where was the branch if you don't mind me asking as I was refused at kasikorn a couple of months ago in Udon Thani but accepted at krungsgri next door with exactly the same paperwork

...good idea ...I have typed the same message/s so many times.lol. But my experience here is still very limited but gradually grasping it all a bit better. The one thing I learnt is check the rules, expect something else and just accept it....
