you are using a bank from home country I think so no need for letter from thai bank

Didn't have a sponsor and for proof of location I used the visa into laos ,as proof I was in laos

...I didn't use the 65k thing as I had an account with over 800k so I can't answer with real knowledge. I did a bank statement that showed 3 months ,not 3 x 1 month statements

Even agents are saying can't get a bank account on a tourist visa, it's not even as easy as it used to be with the non o which you need to get from out side of Thailand, well that's what most immigration offices say..I went to Laos

yes did on line Sunday night. Git qr code. Went Monday and paid. Cash only in bhat 2000.

Application changes on line to paid.

Got mine 48 hours later.

Back to Thailand next morning. Could have made a trip to Luang prabang , however I guess is a remote chance you may have to go back if they have any issues so I decided stay Vientiane. Obviously don't do at a weekend or during thai government holidays as they will close on thai govt holidays. Any other queries please feel free to ask. @

.. no they don't...i did it in June and my bank account was in united kingdom!!!!!!!

I was here 6 months , came back after 4..questioned for 30 minutes,had proof of travel on to laos.

Eventually let me in , 60 day visa exempt. extended 30 days and went laos via nong Khai.

Went with a plan to get 90 day non o which I got.

When I left nong Khai the immigration officer very sternly said; enjoy laos, do not come back without the correct visa...I was quite surprised tbh but when I did come back, with the retirement 90 day non o I saw a few people refused entry back in to Thailand,things are hotting up . Will be leaving soon and come back in 6 months with another non o I hope,I have got the bank account and phone in place now at least

How.does just don't bother shipping costs are so high, customs duty to pay...cheaper to replace..
