Hi, I was talking about when I re-entered Thailand from Vientiane to get a visa exempt. Thai immigration did not ask to see my onward flight ticket out of the country. 😊

Hi Bart, I was also thinking of getting the USD in Bangkok. Someone told me that SuperRich is the best place in the city to exchange money and, if I'm not mistaken, they stay open quite late so that will probably be my best bet. Thanks again for the advice. I appreciate it.

You're right. I have been getting my THB by exchanging euros and once at the ATM machine. But you are definitely right. Exchanging THB to dollars will probably get me a better rate. Thank you.

Oh, thanks. So upon returning to Thailand from Laos, airport customs personnel will not care whether I have an onward ticket to fly out of the Thailand or a simple bus ticket to cross the border?
