Why do airlines even bother....everyone is now just getting these cheap throwaway tickets with no intention of using them ...they should stop this requirement of proof of onward flight....there will always be the occasional overstayer with or without proof of onward flight ... annoying and frustrating

depends who you know .....most I know have less than 200k not a great amount and it'll only last a few years ....even 400k will be gone in 10 years !!
