If one is a foreigner, why would they concern themselves with the politics of another country ? A country should handle it's own internal affairs.

That makes more sense , the way it was worded it seemed like what Cambodia did in the early days of the pandemic , where the entire flight is quarantined .

I believe if you are personally invited by the prime minister you can enter without ASQ , but haven’t heard of anyone who falls under this status yet.

There's the SMART visa, if you have the right technical or investment background. There's also the 10 million baht investment visa. Depends on if you want to work / invest or just chill.

There needs to be more studies done on post vaccination carrying and how likely that is before countries start trusting it. That will come , but no one knows when.
