TLDR : Answer Summary
The current consensus from community responses indicates that despite being fully vaccinated with two Pfizer shots and holding a green certificate, entry into Thailand still requires a quarantine period. Various comments highlight that this situation is unlikely to change soon, as there is ongoing concern about the potential for vaccinated individuals to still carry and spread the virus.
no one is a guinea pig at all ,same as do you want the vaccine SIMPLE YES OR NO ,you are not held down like a wild animal and a needle jabbed into your arm .

Stephen Mc Cann but they are. They are making it mandatory to travel. My freedoms will be and are being curbed. Not a simple yes or no. If it was it would be great. I agree who wants it, go get it. But I should be able to travel freely
I agree with your sentiment. It seems here in the USA, about 30% of the people are concerned about the vaccine for various reasons, especially among African American. People are concerned about a two class systems taking rights away from people who decline or are allergic to any of the vaccines. Testing has improved dramatically in accuracy and speed. Maybe that could resolve the issue if implemented properly.

Wow fella .. the Pfizer whatever it is, does not 1) stop you catching Covid 2) stop you passing it on 3) provide you immunity

woh we have loads of scientist and doctors here now on the group, the man asked a simple question answer YES OR NO.
its not a simple yes or no. Its about education vs MSM narrative. Hey if you think your body can not fight a disease that i have a 99.9x chance of surviving vs a supposed vaccine(MNRA) which has what? So it has to be better than 99.9x. Is it? If you believe this is your savour. You are the reason we still have instructions on the scratch and sniff stickers
Im not researching at all ,YOU ARE...I THINK YOU ARE THE UNEDUCATED,READING PROPAGANDA ON THE INTERNET ,No one has asked about guinea pigs ,Go back to the initial post and read it again ...when you understand the question asked come back and comment .

So Peter without any respect get back in your box unless you have evidence to the contrary
The clinical study that is on going will give scientific data as to its sterilizing capability. That will take about another 3 weeks. There is certainly a difference between mRNA such as Pfizer and Moderna vs Oxford or Sinovac. Current data for Moderna looks promising. For specific information you can follow Dr. Gottlieb, former director of FDA and a Pfizer board member
The Study is still on going as whether the vaccine will produce sterilizing immunity. It appears from the article the preliminary information from Moderna (Pfizer) is pretty good. Of the 5 percent or the vaccinated participants who still got Covid, those who were asymptomatic were blocked from spreading the virus. This study is not completed however it seems much better than the flu.
no, of course not, the vaccine doesn't even work for 1 out of every 10 people, and the other 9 can still be spreaders, and Thailand remains committed to eradicating the virus, again.
Why do you think they are so adamant about waxSIN8ing us all? Cigarettes? War? Alcohol? Abortion? That's all ok? Not suspicious considering the holy books?
one person being vaccinated doesn't mean much. to get the virus under control in Western countries, nearly everyone has to be vaccinated. and before countries in the East (which mostly already have the virus under control) reopen their borders to Westerners they will vaccinate their own populations.
so far, it seems none of the variants are different enough to limit the efficacy of the vaccines but it's definitely a risk that a more serious mutation could happen before the vaccine is rolled out globally, especially as most Western countries still seem happy to allow the virus to transmit quite freely among their people and across borders.
You've had the vaccine but can still carry and transmit covid, so quarantine I'm afraid.

There’s to much money to be made

No vaccine is 100% effective....Pfizer oxford and or moderna have 95% efficacy after a few weeks. The US needs to get fully onboard with this.

I find it hard to believe you have had any vaccine, unless you reside in China, currently in the UK it's only the old and vunerable recieving any virus vaccines...it might be different in China though...but getting back too your question regarding entry to Thailand, I believe you still have quarentine....
Paul where in the original post is there any mention of Israel? As it happens my self and the author of original post managed to reply quite politely, without your contribution...
you said there is no way he could of had it before somebody from the UK unless they were from China. You comment was confident about this, to confident so I Iooked before I leaped (not like you) and discovered that the author is Israel based and was telling the truth. 👍
in Israel until now have more then 2 million Vaccinated, and we will open all things in country until April 2021. Until April we will 85% of citizens will be vaccinated, the vaccination rate is 200,000 a day

They are talking about third quarter for that to happen. But who knows it changes week to week.
Vaccine certificates are BS. The Pfizer vaccine will protect you from getting sick but there is no scientific proof of you not getting infected or transmitting the virus. As for the Chinese vac against Pfizer vac. The devil is in the detail. The Sinovac vac is according to western news only 50% effective. In this calculation they have however included people that got very light symptoms after vaccination. If this same standard is used in measuring the Pfizer vac you must include more than 3400 people that showed light symptoms after vaccination in the trail. This will bring down the effectiveness of the vaccine to the about 60% level. But as Pfizer has refused to release raw data and as their trail has never been peer reviewed the lie will live on. Stay safe.
that article and those points aren’t anything new or any sense to call the vaccine useless. Of course the protection isn’t immediate or 100%, that’s the same for every existing vaccine.
After your vaccine is deemed “complete” you are incredibly likely to not get it, and even if you do get it the severity of symptoms are likely to be much lesser.
The fact that it might just turn you into a possible asymptomatic carrier is a bit of a kick in the dick and makes it a lot less attractive for traveling purposes.
the point of the vaccine was to create confidence for border crossing (in this context) - in that regard it is useless as the efficacy rate is too unproven to remove quarantiene
no vaccine is perfect. I take a flu vaccine every year ... I am fully aware that I could still catch the flu and/or pass it on.

There needs to be more studies done on post vaccination carrying and how likely that is before countries start trusting it. That will come , but no one knows when.

A simple no is the answer.
I’m not even sure if we could get it here we would be able to go out and come back without quarantine
Andrew *****
Long or short way of saying it’s a no sorry

If you have had both vaccinations then according to the science, sadly you may still be able to pass the virus on, you can still be a carrier and spreader of it according to the information available so far, so I don’t see any change to the quarantine in any country just yet until the testing gets faster and more accurate.

In the future, who knows? But certainly not yet.

No. Currently anyone arriving has to quarantine. The rules may change down the line but at the moment you have to.
