I understand. But they need to make it possible to obtain the vusa in Thailand without having to leave the country. If not and the borders remain closed the situation for most will be the same at the end of September. I am very grateful for what they have done and was not expecting another free extension. Well done Thailand!

A lot if money has changed hands in the run up to July 31st. The same will happen in the run up to September 26th. Why change a successful formula?

I did not expect a further free ride neither do I feel it is justified but I am not complaining. It is hard to follow the reasoning here behind almost anything but i have stopped worrying about it.

if this is just another amnesty extension and nothing else has changed then a lot of people will not be able to do anything to Improve their situation in just the same way as it has not been possible for the last 3 months.

I have had a devil of a time getting a bank account. You have to keep trying. Rules are different everywhere. I had to get landlady to provide housebook and guarantee.
