NOT the same. Also there is a lot of misunderstanding between visa on arrival and visa exemption (which is mostly 30 days, but for some passport countries can be 15 or 90 days)

It depends on your passport which ones you are able to get. You have to start from there (possibilities depending on your which passport you have : go to website of your local Thai embassy)

Visa on arrival gives only 15 days and only to certain nationalities.

Or maybe you mean visa exemption ? Thailand has been back to exemption almost 2 and ½ years ago, but exemption only gives 30 days extendable by 30, whereas TV gives 60 extendable by 30 days.

Earlier time slots will become available when others change or cancel their appointment.

Log in regularly to see if you can change to an earlier date

Always do it as early as possible (15 days before) and on-line to save you all these worries.

can't squeeze another year out of non-O year extension based on retirement by crossing the border. You enter with the time left, which could be just a week even.

Need to do an annual extension at immigration.

The extra year by border crossing works for non-OA retirement.

Whatever they ask is what you have to give them.

I used to have to give bank statements for a lot more than 20.000 baht for a multiple entry TV in the days when I was young(er). 600K - 800K.. can't remember exact amount.

There was one time when my visa was under review, they even called me to send proof of no criminal record to get my visa approved.

They ask, you have to give.

Have you used this passport for a previous in person or mail 90 day report before ?

Or was this your first report with your current passport ?
Nick **********
To give you an idea :

I did my 90 online reporting on April 18, I got my approval 23rd. (My due date was May 3rd)

As long as you have time to still report in person until 7 days after your due date, I wouldn't worry anyway.

It's not that they have a habit of rejecting.

could absolutely be. Just depends on the person again.

My personal freedom and all other problems marriage could create wouldn't be worth it for me marrying a gf. Even if you'd give me a million extra.

Marrying one of my best friends - yes. A gf : no.

Signing a business contract with people I have sex with is a bad idea in my view.

Just like signing a business contract while drunk, or on drugs.

That's just my view. Everybody can do what they want, doesn't mean it can't work.

between having a Thai GF and wanting to marry her is a huge difference... 😄😄
