the METV doesn’t guarantee that. His odds are the same with it and without it.

Why do you need a METV? It’s currently the same as visa exempt entry.

it is not a consulate. it is the “Thailand Trade and Economic Office 泰國貿易經濟辦事處”

from my correspondence with the consulate in HCMC:

“Regarding the financial statement, kindly print out the transactions within the last 6 months from your bank account and demonstrating a minimum balance of 500,000 THB (it can be from any bank, in any currency), it is should be in one bank account.”

Note the last sentence. Might be a useful data point for you.

I wonder why it says “first time used.” Does it matter how many entries are used on the DTV?
