ok now your talking sense . Yes over 65 correct but you didn’t mention this , under 65 there plenty of policy out there for 12 months that cover you fully . But if you look around can still fine them to get full

if you want backpackers insurance which most will give policy is for ie 6 months if you are going for 6 months I’ve done it in the past

basic they might as well cancel all flight to bangkok from the uk then ,no chance get a thumbs up 72 hours prior to your flight that you are virus free plus alot wont cover you for corona virus

Got to be many people who get 6 month visa and don’t have employment so can’t provide letter of employment .Just don’t get it .Maybe ask this consulate about this .Maybe letter explaining your position
