No import duty on laptops, only 7% vat on the cost of the goods (the real cost, not some made up low figure) including shipping and insurance. If the CIF value is more than 40k Baht you’ll need to register for import, for which your shipper will ask your passport and some additional fees.

Please beware that if the laptop has a sim slot (or can be connected mobile) you need to make sure the same model is already registered in Thailand, otherwise you’ll have to add a few hundred k to get it certified and registered with the nbtc.

Get a single entry non-o visa from a consulate or embassy abroad. Even if there are financial requirements, an account in your home country is fine. Then you enter Thailand and open the bank account and transfer the necessary funds.

some immigration offices don’t wNt to issue the resident certificate without an official request from the department it’s intended for. Hence DLT should issue a letter requesting the IO to issue you the certificate in order to purchase a vehicle.

After you pay, you will receive the contact details from the hotel both in the app and confirmation email. You can either contact the hotel directly to request a tax receipt or you can send a message through the booking app. Booking.com themselves won’t issue the receipt on the hotel’s behalf.

Some immigration offices regard the date you received a long stay extension as proof of 90-day, but others don’t in which case it’s either 90 days after your previous report or 90 days after arriving in Thailand last, whichever is later. So check with your immigration office.

not all international airports issue a re entry permit, so check beforehand if not flying from Bangkok.

I’m not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but for a workpermit, the labor department needs to see that the company has the revenue to hire a foreign employee. So just create some invoices to Somchai for a service, pay them from a personal account, and the company pays you salary. You do lose VAT (can credit against paid Vat to suppliers)and withholding tax depending on the service invoiced.

no, that’s the limited personal liability which amount has to be paid up by the shareholders. The company can use that money as it see fit. So in essence the shareholders can never lose more than the 2m put in when the company goes bankrupt. (With exceptions).

The company has to show there’s enough revenue to pay for the foreigner’s salary.

You don’t need a student visa to study. Why can’t you just get the job and apply for the work permit and non-b visa (or extension)? You don’t need to graduate or have a degree to get the work permit, providing its not a teaching job.
