Thanks. I did a 90-day report many times including last year but it is out of date and so I only have an entry stamp in my passport for June 5th, 2023 and I won’t be able to get a new 90-day until end November as I have to travel in August. The UK embassy does not appear to offer this service. I have to register my new vehicle and update my license with the new address. Is there any other way to get this? Can I ask for a new 90-day report certificate even if I just arrived back in Thailand earlier this month and if not, any other ideas? Thanks.
I got stuck at this point for 5 months and after they asked for all my info in multiple ways (SSN, tax returns, monthly bank and brokerage statements over last 2 years etc.), they rejected me without reason. I suspect they did not view my deferred income as a pension despite it being that. Very tedious and disappointing waste of a lot of time. I wish you luck … others have got it.
Yes, I have now just been asked for the profit made from investments despite having sent them all my bank details, tax returns and payments. It feels like a stalling tactic every few weeks. They need to be up front on what is required as their initial list of documents requested was completed 2 months ago.
Good luck … I hope you get it. I have gone through various rounds of ‘pending - more info requested - pending’ to ‘in process’ and then onto ‘under consideration by government agencies’ for the last 10 days. Any idea if there is another phase before approval / rejection?
You would be his dependent on the retirement visa if you are both over 50. You only need the one bank account from the applicant with 800,000 baht. You will also both need to get the annual non-immigrant visa too, ideally on the same day. We did this as UK/US citizens and it should be the same for SA.
