I wonder if the hotel sold your room to someone booking direct, at a far higher cost, letting both Agoda and yourself down? You’d think they’d avoid upsetting Agoda though..

This happened on my wife’s boarding pass. Mrs was the last word, but they ran out of spaces for letters, so the s was omitted. It wasn’t a problem. It’s possible this is the same…

In UK a lot of shops charge 10% commission for this. They already save the bank charge. Paying an exchange rate on your own currency …love it.

Thanks for that. I’d sooner do it properly via the embassy if I can. I wonder if the problem is with the website. I can’t get their phone to ring, let alone have someone answer it. Their email seems to be disconnected too.
