You don't need to file the TM30 on your return, the responsibility lies with the hotel or the owner of the property you're staying at. Also I've never needed a TM30 for a 90 days report!

@Chom *****
The only border crossing that I know of that requires you to stay 1 night is the Poipet crossing in Cambodia and that's only if you don't use an agency. Crossing at any Thai/Laos border doesn't require an overnight stay.

Go and apply for the 60 days extention, you'll need to take your wife or son with you plus your marriage cert or your son's birth cert.
Steve *******
If you're wife and son are Thai you should be able to get a 60 days, (visiting Thai dependents) extention
Steve *******
You should be fine and no need to stay the night, it won't make any difference

Get the Non Imm O based on marriage in the US and then when you have 30 days left on that apply for the 1 year extention of stay based on marriage. Job done!
Steve *******
Get the Non Imm O in your home Country. So much easier.

You're talking about a re-entry permit, I'm talking about a Non Imm O visa. Two different animals!

@Willy ******
Single entry Non imm O visa is valid to use for 90 days from it's issue date and allows you to stay in Thailand for 90 days.
