the amount of Thai women I’ve talked to who have had men want to see titties on the first call is pretty sad.

All will be basically the same, loaded with scammers, many even from organized teams world wide.

If they mention bitcoin wallet, run! 🤣

I can only say the amount of people with huge money problems is staggering and playing the long game is something to watch out for.

it truly depends on the immigration office.

I provide all the above in Khon Kaen. They’ve never said anything, kept all I give and give me my passport with a new slip stapled inside.

Little surprised passport only? THE 90 day form is the TM.47. Seems odd that would be omitted. 🤷‍♂️

I think the TM.6 isn’t issued anymore but if you have it, give it is my understanding.

• Your valid passport

• Photocopies of the relevant pages on your passport:

○ Your personal information

○ Your current Thai Visa (prints of PDF)

○ The latest entry stamp (Passport)

○ The latest Thai Visa Extension (if applicable)

• 90-Day Report Notification form, completed and signed (TM.47)

• A photocopy of the front and back of your arrival/departure card (TM.6)

• A copy of your previous 90-day slip (if you had one)

¡ If applying through registered mail: A self-addressed envelope along with a 10 Thai Baht postage stamp.

the illegal I was referring to is MANY so called agents, which I stated pretty clearly.

So based on your detail lacking visa process, I can only assume the use of an exempt stamp and extension, maybe a tourist visa. This suggests a border run of some sort which will have an expense (1900 just to get into Laos as an example), travel expenses and other time and materials.

Calling something ‘not expensive’ vs ‘least or most expensive’ are two entirely different qualifiers.

What is not expensive to you is potentially expensive to some else.

What is most or least expensive is relatable by anyone.

Phuket…not shocking there. Hopefully you’ve taken the opportunity to visit the real Thailand, not the made for tourists Disney version. 👍

What I don't understand is you identified THE MOST EXPENSIVE ways to stay in Thailand (30 day and extension...or agents which are often illegal). While getting an appropriate visa for the appropriate reasons is considered Thailand is not serious or bad?

By all means, I'm not going to get on a soapbox and preach everything in Thailand makes sense (especially to entitled westerners)......but, respect the local culture, these are good people....or just go home. 👍

I’m learning this but until now just didn’t understand the meaning of O or OA exceeded the scope of ‘retirement’ visas.

see this now. Suggests alternate names would be practical but what is, is. 🙏
