In Chiang Mai the Honda Safety Riding Part gives lessons from beginners (2 day course) to big bikes (another 2 day course) using their bikes and on completion of each course they give you a certificate to take to the Transport Office and a list of other documents that you will need (Doctors certificate and Residence certificate). Or if you have a bike licence from your home country it is easy enough to get a Thai licence from the Transport Office

Mate, Usually your posts are spot on but I believe that the 800,000 thb for an extension of stay based on being retired does not have to be shown as an overseas transfer. Please confirm for me.
I doubt very much that you can show a photo on here of you "International" licence because there is no such thing. Perhaps you have an "International Drivers Permit" which is simply an English translation of your National Licence.
