it's not an aberration that it's more expensive in Bangkok. I'm glad you found a microcosm of economy. But the fact is it 20% more expensive to live in Bangkok than to live in Chiang Mai according to National Economic statistics. On top of that because of geography it is a fact that it's much more comfortable to live in Chiang Mai because Bangkok is just more humid and quite uncomfortable weather. Obviously millions of people prefer it, but I personally am still dumbfounded by their choice. But as they say in Thailand " it's up to you:-)"

you are correct !with one aspect of your comment. When you stop and think about it, when some guys have sex, they like to be urinated on, some guys like to be beat. So I guess I shouldn't be surprised that guys like to pay too much money for what they buy and sweat like a pig when they walk down the street :-)

yes! I'm amazed that people love to sweat while they're walking:-) and love to pay high prices:-) obviously millions of them do or they wouldn't live there. I'm still amazed at that. Just like New York City it's a hell hole. And I mean I hell hole. But millions of people absolutely love it. They can't even afford to live there and they live there :-) yes! That amazes me :-)

I'm amazed at how many million people love Bangkok 555 you can have the traffic, the very high prices in the nice restaurants, and the very high humidity sticky feeling you get with their weather. Can't stand Bangkok. If that was my choice I would not live in Thailand :-)

My Thailand wife and I moved here 6 years ago we love it. We wouldn't live anywhere else. We hope to live here another 30 years :)

Google maps is an excellent source. Will give you real pictures of the rooms and lobby area as well as dining areas and breakfast if served. Also real reviews from real people they’re fairly accurate Oh BTW I will give you the price make sure you plug in the correct dates prices change by the date.
