In Bangkok it's a pain for many to hike to CW just for a 90 day report. I do it by mail every time. In about eight years works every time. Relying on post is irrelevant. The mail is tracked

Problem is if it's rejected, you have the long hike up to CW. Doing it by mail 15 days out, it's 100%

Kind of. Thailand doesn't need to "suck" the money out of stupid expats. They willingly give their life savings to Thai rice farmer girls from Isaan, building them and their families houses, and then getting dumped! 😂

Yes I left my money in Australia earning 11% tax free and used the "insurance declined" proviso of the OA to get out of buying a useless policy! It's a no-brainer!
