No but like many negative people you like to throw up negatives. He's been issued a DTV, he will waltz through immigration and will not have to produce bank records. That's the question he's asking
I was being facetious. I get sick of the "experts" failing to advise those asking the questions that Visa Exempt and Visa On Arrival are two totally separate things.
Plus I daresay once immigration offices start getting pedantic about the DTV extensions (eg possible requirement of 500k in a Thai bank account, health insurance etc) it will open up new avenues for agents representing people who just want to remain in Thailand for as long as possible without border hops. So there's a new avenue of "tea money" possible. The DTV is certainly a game-changer
That's true, but generally if you have a multi-entry visa there's no hassles flying in. The big issues might be with extensions, but as I see one of the biggest advantages of the DTV is total avoidance of pedantic immigration offices I won't be looking for any in-country extensions
